There’s soooo many soulmate fanfics, but…
…What if Kurt has Blaine’s name on his wrist but Blaine doesn’t have Kurt’s. What if the soul-mate brand doesn’t start to show up until you come into contact with your soul-mate? So Kurt’s began to write itself on his wrist on the staircase at Dalton. Blaine and Kurt fall in love like canon. Blaine’s reasoning for “searching” and for being hesitant with Kurt was because his soul-mate marking still hasn’t started to write. Still, they get together and he transfers with Kurt like canon. He reasons that perhaps he’s just some special circumstance and it’ll take longer for Kurt’s name to show up on his wrist.
It is when he goes to Dalton to visit his old friends and sees Sebastian that his soul-mate name starts to write on his wrist. Omg Sebastian! Blaine’s heart belongs to Kurt, but when he sees the name started on his wrist, he curiously allows the boy to take him out for coffee. And it is only when Kurt shows up at the Lima Bean to meet Blaine that Sebastian, who has been hitting on Blaine with no idea that his name is currently writing itself on Blaine’s wrist, starts to feel the stinging of KURT HUMMEL being written on his own wrist.
This is pretty much UNHEARD of and the boys have to figure out what it meeeaaans for them. At first Sebastian keeps the name on his wrist a secret and still hits on Blaine all the time just to piss off Kurt (and also because it gives him reason to see Kurt)… Blaine knows it upsets Kurt that Sebastian is so blatantly after him, but he secretly knows that Sebastian is his soul-mate and so maybe Kurt’s “Blaine” is some other Blaine Anderson. They have these seeecrets and somehow everything just blows up in their faces and they have to figure out how to make this work.

This Sebklaine plot bunny will not let me go…
I’m watching Cruel Intentions for the millionth time and realizing all I want in my (fanfiction)life is a Cruel Intentions inspired Sebklaine fic where Kurt is Annette, Sebastian is…well Sebastian and Blaine is Kathryn.
It’s not exactly following the plot of the movie b/c in my head Seb and Blaine aren’t step brothers (go with me here please lol) They’re childhood friends who grew up together and are Dalton’s power couple but have the understanding they can hook up with other people but ONLY as one night stands and absolutely NO feelings allowed.
The boys have bits of the personalities of the movie Kat and Seb. Blaine appears to be the perfect role model/gentleman on the surface but in reality he’s devious and deceitful, manipulative and ruthless, seductive and secretive. Sebastian is a playboy. He doesn’t give two fucks about his reputation. He seduces at will, is charming and intelligent and the only real connection he has with anyone else is with Blaine…and with an aunt who dotes on him.
Enter Kurt. He wins a scholarship to Dalton, joins the Warblers and lands on Seblaine’s radar (maybe he’s taking voice/dance/piano lessons or s/thing from Seb’s aunt) They find out he’s a virgin and make a “gentleman’s” bet on which one of them can get him into bed first. They both set about seducing him and Kurt finds himself initially repulsed and spurns both boys (this is innocent, moral, baby penguin Kurt here) but they each manipulate ways to force him into spending time w/them and he slowly gets to know them and falls for them both. Meanwhile both Blaine and Seb find themselves actually falling for Kurt as well. After awhile they call off the bet but keep spending time with Kurt and eventually they all end up in bed and then…dun dun dun…per the “one night only” rule, Seblaine break his heart by dumping him (neither wants to, they think the other does and don’t want to lose them).
Everyone is miserable, Seblaine have a talk about it, realize they’ve both fallen for Kurt and then try to win him back…but Kurt doesn’t make it easy and they may not succeed.
I know it’s a bit contrived but I think at some point I’m going to write this (probably after I finish my Kurtbastian Mafia story for the GKM) b/c it’s been on my brain literally since Sebastian’s debut. I just don’t know if anyone would read it or this is one of those ideas that only sound good to me, you know?

So Sebastian has always had an inkling of his differences, right from an early age. (That’s how it always is, isn’t it? Everybody thinks they’re different, that they’re special, right up until life tells them they’re not.) He’s more interested in lacrosse than football, would rather spend time on his own than with other kids his age, and finds no importance or use in girls at all. When the other boys joke about girls having cooties, he just nods along and doesn’t think much of it—he’s destined for bigger stuff than marrying some girl, anyway. He doesn’t see the point in holding hands with a girl, with buying her flowers and taking her on dates and eventually marrying her and making lots of squalling babies. He can’t see himself doing any of that; it’s just not on his radar.
When he says as much to his dad, his father looks at him strangely—this is the first time he thinks that something might be off, at eleven years old when he’s sat perched neatly on the windowseat in the living room whilst his father sits in the big chair and reads a newspaper—and says, “That’ll soon change, don’t worry.” Sebastian doesn’t know how to tell his father that it doen’t worry him and that he actually quite likes it that way, so instead he nods and clamps his mouth shut, staring out the window at the gardener working on the rhododendrons.

But where is the AU where Sebastian is a freelance journalist who writes articles for some popular newspaper or magazine about being an awesome gay guy in New York City all Carrie Bradshaw style but without all the whining? You know, where Kurt is his editor who he has this amazing flirtation going on with but Kurt’s too professional to do shit about it and Sebastian’s too busy being Sebastian? And where Blaine Anderson is that guy he keeps running into who gets his own alias in his little article because readers start to respond well to whenever Sebastian talks about running into him, and who fascinates Sebastian a lot?

God but aro!Sebastian would make so much sense in the context of what we’ve been given in the show. I am seriously developing so many headcanons based on what we’ve seen—his promiscuity, his attempts to act cold and emotionless (but also his guilt and remorse), his dislike of romanticism (mocking Kurt and Blaine’s relationship—also possibly out of misguided jealousy).
I know I’ve said this before, but I really, really want a Sebklaine fic where Sebastian is aromantic (or at least spectrum) and Kurt and Blaine are his queerplatonic partners ajlfsajgkah I just think it would be amazing if there were fics about aromantic sexual characters in “relationships” where their partners don’t try to “fix” them and simply accept that the most that they can be given is deep, deep platonic love. The three of them love and adore each other, sleep together and live together, but Kurt and Blaine being “in love” is practically indistinguishable from the close friendship they have with Sebastian and they operate very much as a trio (not a pair and an extra), except for when Kurt and Blaine go on dates by themselves and hold hands and all the romantic shit that Sebastian has no interest in.
